DWQ Project 13 -0891
Raleigh, North Carolina
Dear Ms. Smith:
Thank you for speaking with me today and your help with this proposed resident
subdivision. We are submitting the additional information regarding the proposed riparian buff,
impacts associated with the road crossing and utility line crossings.
Attached are the following items for your files and review.
• Revised PCN page 6 (buffer impacts).
• Engineering exhibit: Figure 4- Impact Map For Septic Line
If you should have questions or require additional clarification please feel free to contact me

B2 above Please refer to the attached "Impact Map For Septic Line" for details Permanent grass will be established at the
conclusion of the installations and maintained Shrubs and trees will not be allowed to re- establish to prevent root damage to
the lines
D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1 Avoidance and Minimization
1a Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project
The road crossing was strategically located near an existing crossing It's perpendicular alignment will minimize impacts to the
stream and riparian buffers
1 b Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques
The existing dirt road will be utilized during construction then removed and the stream restored when the permanent road is
ready
