Also seeing a major shift on developers part to dust pay the WRP as a cost of doing business and moving on to the next project, passing the cost on to the next purchaser. In Forsyth County, the planning folks ( "LEGACY- 202511) are desiring to actually reduce the number of impaired sections of streams in Forsyth County; however, we keep allowing more and more impacts w/o offsetting the losses locally. Really concerned about no stream mitigation in Forsyth for Northern Beltway even though we spent days looking at possible opportunities. If we go thru this much trouble, can Region be kept informed on proposed changes to mitigation efforts especially if they occur outside of general area of impacts Guess we need to make DOT's life easier; but, we still need to act locally (my opinion). Can we please discuss this concern and Regional WRP utilization options when we meet on Jan 29? James Ronald (Ron) Linville -- 1 -- Tue, 29 Dec 1998 07.54:40
