Steve,
Thank you for calling me to come out and discuss the alignment of the small tributary outlet into Little Creek that is
adjacent to the new greenway. We discussed that the best course of action would be to remove the small portion of
bank that remains between the culvert outlets and Little Creek. You will have the contractor remove the majority of the
material and create a small bench about 6 -12 inches above the stream elevation so that the stream remains in its
current channel during low flow conditions. The bank will be sloped back and blended with the existing contours as best
as possible and natural fiber matting will be used to stabilize the bank. If you can plant some live stakes along the new
bank it would provide stability in the long term.
Please consider this email as approval as a minor modification to the plans submitted with the permit. Please let me
know when the work is complete. Thanks.
