I will move forward with a 9 ft temporary impact for the construction of the check dam. Check Dam is 12' in depth (to the stream) and about 50' wide. I'm fairly certain this was covered in the square footage of the table on Sheet 7, in the "Temporary Buffer Impact row. If it needs to be labeled in LF of additional impact though, some of it overlaps the final rip rap pad. So to provide an additional footage of impact, it's a total of 8.25' beyond the end of the rip -rap pad. I'm not exactly sure what else he may be wanting to verify if that doesn't cover it. If that doesn't answer his question, can you ask him to mark up the plan for us to see what he's referring to?" i Ian McMillan, PWS, GISP, CPM Sage Ecological Services, Inc. 919-608-3156 (McMillan@SageEcological.com From: Phillips, George L CIV USARMY CESAW (USA) <George.L.Phillips@usace.army.mil> Sent: Tuesday, October 19, 2021 11:08 AM To: Ian McMillan <imcmillan@SAGEECOLOGICAL.COM> Cc: Cohn, Colleen M <colleen.cohn@ncdenr.gov> Subject: RE: SAW-2021-01964 (3501 Moon Lindley Road / Snow Camp NC / Chatham County) / Request for Additional Information Hey Ian, After review of the additional information it appears as though some of the proposed impacts based on the attached Sheet 7 of 9 are not included in the PCN impact table (54 linear feet). It appears that the proposed impacts consists of: 38 linear feet — permanent stream impacts (with loss) for culvert installation 67 linear feet — permanent stream impacts (no loss) for rip rap installation Unknown — temporary stream impacts for temporary check dam Below is the table included on Sheet 7 of 9.
