Any violation of these terms may De suDject to lines, imprisonment or crvu action; or may cause me permit to De null anti vota. 1) Unless specifically altered herein, this minor modification authorizes the realignment and extension of the previously permitted breakwater, all as expressly and specifically set forth in the attached workplan drawings. 2) This minor modification shall be attached to the original of Permit No. 46 -11, which was issued on 3/31/11, and copies of both documents shall be readily available on site when Division personnel inspect the project for compliance. 3) All conditions and stipulations of the active permit remain in force under this minor modification unless specifically altered herein. This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. An appeal requires resolution prior to work initiation or continuance as the case may be. This permit must be accessible on -site to Department personnel when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modification not covered hereunder requires further Division approval. All work must cease when the permit expires on October 1, 2015 In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees that your project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program. (received May 9, 2013) requesting a Minor Modification to Major Permit #46 -11 (b) 15A NCAC 07J.0405, Permit Modification Minor Modification to Mai or Permit Glenn Jungen has requested a Minor Modification to Major Permit #46 -11, which was issued on March 31, 2011 and expires on October 1, 2015. The original major permit authorized the construction of three 100' breakwater sections for wetland protection. 2. Glenn Jun en has requested to modify Major Permit #46 -11 for the purpose of realigning the northern section of proposed breakwater in a way that more closely follows the existing shoreline configuration, similar to the alignment of the approved central section of breakwater. 3. The central section was constructed in 2011 and is has been successful in stabilizing the fringe marsh and shoreline from erosion. The idea with the northern section is to realign in a way that more closely follows the existing shoreline configuration, similar to the constructed central section. The total length of proposed breakwater for the northern section is 110 ft, with a 100 ft span from the end of the northern breakwater section to the first 5 ft opening (there will be a 10 ft overlap with the central section). Included is the following: • $100 Processing Fee Check • Agent Authorization Letter • Letters to Adjacent Riparian Owners • 7 copies of the updated plan Please review this information. The CAMA Permit issued was 46 -11. 1 am expecting a PDF from Brian Rubino shortly that I will forward to you, but I wanted to put it on your radar as it sounds like the property owner is ready to construct when he is issued the mod. The breakwater will be longer, but closer to shore. Do you remember this project? It was a series of 3 break waters that were protecting a 10' gravel road (Sound Landing Road).
