Yes No NA NE • ❑ ❑ ❑ ❑ ❑ • ❑ ❑ ❑ • ❑ Comment: On -site field analyses (pH, temperature, total residual chlorine) are performed under Charlotte Water/Lee S. Duke WTP's field laboratory certification #5221. Charlotte Water's Environmental Lab Services (Certification #192) performs all remaining permit -required analyses with the exception of chronic toxicity (ETT Environmental). The pH meter is calibrated every day; however, the effluent pH is measured approximately six to seven hours following the calibration. The pH meter should be re -checked with the 7.0 SU standard prior to analysis. In addition, the ORC and staff must ensure that the calibration of the pH meter (4.0 SU, 7.0 SU and 10 SU standards) and the serial #s for the pH and total residual chlorine meters are documented in calibration log. Effluent Sampling Yes No NA NE Is composite sampling flow proportional? ❑ El • El Is sample collected below all treatment units? • ❑ El El Is proper volume collected? • El El El Is the tubing clean? ❑ El • ❑ # Is proper temperature set for sample storage (kept at less than or equal to 6.0 El El • El degrees Celsius)? Is the facility sampling performed as required by the permit (frequency, sampling type • El El El representative)? Comment: The subject permit requires effluent grab samples. Operations & Maintenance Yes No NA NE Is the plant generally clean with acceptable housekeeping? • ❑ El El Does the facility analyze process control parameters, for ex: MLSS, MCRT, Settleable El El El Solids, pH, DO, Sludge Judge, and other that are applicable?
