Terrible Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant
Dear Mr. Montebello:
The Town of Fuquay-Varina request a reduction in monitoring frequency in accordance with 15A NCAC 2B
.0508(b)(1) and the October 2012 DWR Guidance Document for the Reduction of Monitoring Frequency for
Exceptionally Performing Facilities, the Town of Fuquay-Varina respectfully request a reduction in
frequency monitoring for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), total suspended solids (TSS), and fecal
coliform bacteria.
Effluent sampling results from the past three years demonstrate that all state regulatory and guidance
requirements have been met in support of this request.
