NO. 211-02-201 CMUD PROJECT NO. 100-01-076 (w) Dear Mr. Schmitt: ply to your request, a study of the subject site has been completed and the following data determined: Due to the availability of an existing sewer main along Rea Road (S.R. 3624), CMUD Job No. 390-88-678 (File 296-15), which is part of the CMUD sewer system, the Charlotte -Mecklenburg Utility Department agrees to accept the sewage flow of 1,710 gallons per day from the above mentioned project for transmission to McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility (NPDES permit number NC0024970) for treatment, This acceptance of flow is based on the existing capacity of the designated publicly owned treatment works, and contingent upon final acceptance and ISSUANCE OF A DISCHARGE PERMIT from the appropriate local, State, or Federal. Agency, whichever might have control. Connection to the CMUD system is accepted on a FIRST -COME, FIRST -SERVED basis, as capacity for future projects cannot be guaranteed. With the availability of an 8-Inch water main along Rea Road (S.R. 3624), CMUD Job No. 512-85-119, which is part of the CMUD water system, the Charlotte -Mecklenburg Utility Department agrees to furnish water to the subject site. An adequate supply of water for domestic use during peak demand times will be available to serve the subject site. While water quality to the subject site is regulated by the Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments of 1986, CMUD cannot guarantee a constant pressure of quality of flow. This agreement is also contingent upon approval by the Division of Environment, Health and Natural Resources. The Charlotte -Mecklenburg Utility Department does not expect any of the above conditions to preclude water service to the subject site. However, the applicant should understand that due to the involvement of other agencies and continuing growth of the water and sewer system, the ability to provide service for future projects cannot he guaranteed nor reserved.
