I have the following questions/comments: 1.The report doesn’t mention anything about maintenance of fencing. As part of your “site observations”, inspections of the fencing should be performed annually. Send me a statement regarding the condition of the fence and if any maintenance was needed 2.Year 1 Report indicated that replanting was necessary and would occur between Nov 2012 – April 2013. However, Year 2 Report does not state that replanting was done. Rather than, it states that replanting is again necessary and will occur between Nov. 2013 – April 2014. 3.During the onsite visit with EBX on April 15, 2013, Norton determined that the kinds of species planted in VP-4 did not match the table provided in the Asbuilt Report or Year 1 Monitoring Report. Most specifically, he counted 8 Dogwoods and 1 persimmon rather than what is recorded in Table 2, which shows 8 Persimmons and 1 Dogwood. Explain. 4.VP-3 – monitor the sweet gums and thin if necessary in future monitoring years 5.Discrepancies were noted between Table 2 and the Vegetation Monitoring Data sheets for the following plots: 2, 3, 5, 7,9, DWR will discuss discrepancies in detail with McAdams to determine the issues. 6.where volunteer/natural stems were counted (example: VP-3) we need to know if they were less than 10cm. The recorded height class of 0-50 cm should be corrected to be 10-50 cm. According to CVS protocol, no volunteer stems less than 10cm should be counted. Determine if the volunteers recorded were above 10cm and correct all plot data if needed. Please send responses to the comments above to me. If you have any questions, please let me know.
