On August 21, 2013 „1he Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application requesting a 401
Water Quality Certification and Buffer Authorization from the Division for your project. The'Division has
determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is.on -hold until the,
following information is received:
1., The application states that there are i npacts to 404 and lisolated, wetlands, but the impact table in
section C.2. of the application just has the impact to the 404 wetland listed. Please clarify the wetland
impacts.
Z. Figure, 3 depict 4g,the,impacts,of this project did not, appear to show the 404 and isolated wetland
areas as overlays.
3. Indicate all wetland impacts including fill slopes on the impact map and clearly label impacts.
4. Per'the requirements of°the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule, you must show-that this site meets diffuse
flow requirements with a level spreader-vegetated, filter strip or other BMP per Chapter 8 of the BMP
Manual (see http: / /portal.ncdenr.org /web /wq /ws /su /bmp- manual). This requirement applies to the
steam crossing and -the three ponds.
