Inspection Summary:
Jim Gonsiewski of the WSRO arrived at the site at 12:00 PM 9/16/21. No activity was noted around the remediation
building. Several cars and trucks were parked to the west of the former service station building. Based on the location of
these vehicles, the mobile home at 6407 Highway 150 is likely occupied. No activity at the house or the vehicles was noted
during the site visit. According to Mr. David Stoner of Shield Engineering the system was last active in October 2017. It is
currently shut down.
Both the former service station building and the remediation building appeared to be in good condition. All wells were still in
place and also apeared to be in good condition. A rusted 55-gallon drum was attached with a hose to a container outside
and at the rear of the remediation building. The drum and container were secured behind a chain link fence. A number of
bolts were missing from the well covers. The majority of these missing bolts were noted in the covers for the vapor
extraction/groundwater recovery wells. Jim Gonsiewski left the site at 12:30 PM.
