As a follow up to our recent telephone conversation, I would like to provide you with the following information
concerning the septic system at 7680 River Brook Trail in Clemmons:
Our records indicate there is a single family septic discharge system on this property. The permit number for this system
is NCG550393. Our office is required to inspect this system once every five years. The system was last inspected in July
2015. The system consists of three components: the septic tank and sand filter, the chlorinator, and the effluent
discharge point. The homeowner should pump the septic tank every three to five years. Special commercially available
chlorine tablets need to be placed in the chlorinator. The effluent is required to be sampled once a year.
Our office is willing to discuss any questions you may have concerning this system. Also, we are willing to meet at the
residence with you to discuss the system and provide the following information: the permit, an information sheet on the
chlorine tablets, and the form to transfer the permit to the new property owner. You can contact me via email or by
