STORMWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT
Public comment or obiection to the draft permit is invited.
Submit written comments to DEMLR at the email address
below. All comments received through August 30, 2021 will
be considered in the final determination regarding permit
issuance and permit provisions.
Application: The following Municipal Separate Storm Sewer
System (MS4) permitted entity has applied for an NPDES
MS4 permit renewal to discharge stormwater from their
iurisdictional area in Onslow County:
United States Marine Corps Base Camp Leieune and Air
Station New River. Permit Number NCS000290.
This MS4 discharges to receiving waters designated as Bear
Creek (SB, NSW), Beaverdam Creek (SB, NSW), Cogdels
Creek (SC, NSW), New River (SC, HQW, NSW, SC, NSW,
SA), Wallace Creek (SB, NSW), Frenchs Creek (SC, NSW),
Edwards Creek (SC, NSW), Strawhorn Creek (SC, NSW),
Stick Creek (SC, HQW, NSW), Southwest Creek (C, NSW),
Courthouse Bay (SA), Stones Creek (SA), Brinson Creek
(SC, NSW), Northeast Creek (SC, HQW, NSW), Scales
Creek (SC, HQW, NSW), Wilson Bay (SC, HQW, NSW), Mott
Creek (C, NSW), Morgan Bay (SC, NSW), and Farrell Bay
(SC, NSW) in the White Oak River Basin.
