HomeMy WebLinkAbout20061700 Ver 1_Staff Comments_20070626Comments for DWQ 06-1700, Ver. 2 - 60 Sun Forest Way -Orange County: 1) Cannot locate DWQ approval letter for NOV corrective action plan. 2) Need plan view showing width of proposed crossing at surface and fill slopes at a scale of no smaller than 1"=50'. 3) Need site plan at a scale of no smaller than 1"=50' with all stream, wetland, contours and buildings. 4) Page 1 of letter from Matt Bolesky dated April 19, 2007 • Why is it referred to as a "fill plan"? • Refers to "logical and cost efficient". 5) Page 2 of letter from Matt Bolesky dated Apri119, 2007 • States "restoration plan has been approved" • States "placement of the pipe and fill corresponds directly to the area that needs to be "secured" to prevent shifting or movement of soil to ensure the integrity of the home structure." • States "A bridge will not assist in securing or shoring up the foundation of the home/garage structure. Abridge access will not allow for farm, lawn or garden equipment (unless a very expensive structure is erected). Abridge access will not create any real opportunity for our children to expand and play area (sic)." 6) Why did USACE permit for 1401inear feet of impact? 7) Sheet 1 of 1 "Typical Cross Section" shows proposed grade at Elevation t 67 to Elevation ± 67, while Erosion Control & Wetlands Location Plan, dated 3/16/07 shows proposed fill elevations at Elevation t 79 to Elevation ± 79.
