JAY ZIMMERMAN Director Dear Ms. Allen: PERCS Unit of the Division of Water Resources has reviewed the Industrial Pretreatment Permit (IUP) renewals submitted by the City of Lumberton for the following Significant Industrial Users (SIUs). IUP renewals were initially received by the Division on September 29, 2017, followed by several corrections received on different dates since then. SIU IUP 001 Elkay Southern Plant #1 Kayser -Roth Corporation 004 018 Lumberton Cellulose International Paper Company 019 020 (Trinity Manufacturing 021 Robeson County Solid Waste Management Landfill 022 Kansas''City Sausage Company The review, with the corrections, indicates that the IUPs are adequate and the minimum requirements of 15A NCAC 2H .0905 and .0916 and 40 CFR 403.8(f) (1) (iii) are met. Federal and State pretreatment regulations require the local delegated pretreatment program to effectively control and document the discharge of wastewater from Significant/Categorical Industrial Users to the POTW. It is the POTW's responsibility to ensure that these objectives are consistently met. Thank you for your continued cooperation with the Pretreatment Program.
