06-10-02 LUMBERTON (NC0024571) Jon Locklear (ORC) phoned FRO toconfirm
that this Friday evening (depending upon the rainy weather),as
preventive maintenance procedure, the chlorine contact chambers will be
cleaned . The, chlorine contact chambers are eight feet deep, and there
is approximately one to two inches of sludge in them. The sludge will
be pumped to the recirculation basin and then to the aeration basin.

Jon Locklear (ORC) called today to report that the chlorine contact tank
was back online. They completed the cleaning and were in compliance for
all NPDES permit parameters.
