(Don't know). But after reviewing your continents, you are correct about the 2" diameter orifice and the driving head. I have already made these corrections to the drawings and talcs. See attached Supp Form and Sheet 2 of 3 and 3 of 3. Also the building area should equal 36,000 sq-ft and not 45,000. I have already made this change to the application; see App Sheet 3. We really appreciate you time and willingness to work with Lis on these issues. Like always, should You have any additional continents or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks and have a great day. Jonathan E. Locklear, PE Locklear, L.ocldear & Jacobs, PLLC. PO Box 3119 Pembroke, NC 28372 (910)309-1765 Fax:886-649-7235 From: Lawyer, Mike [mailto:mike. lawyer@ncdenr.gov] Sent: Monday, March 15, 2010 5:28 PM To: jelocklear2@aol.com Subject: Township Developers Jonathan, In reviewing discharge rate and drawdown calculations for the subject project, the proposed 4" diameter orifice would actually have a discharge rate of about 0.36 cu. ft./sec and drawdown the pond in about half a day. To achieve the 0.09 cu. ft./sec discharge rate as entered on the supplement form, the orifice would need to be 2", which would also achieve the minimum 2-day drawdown as required. Based on the difference in elevations of Temp. Pool (153.5') and Perm. Pool (152.0'), the Driving Head should be 0.5' instead of 1.25' ((153.5-152.0)/3). Please revise the supplement and plan sheets to reflect these necessary changes. If we need to speak more about this, please contact me. Also, the application shows proposed buildings at 45,000 sq. ft., however the plans show buildings totaling 36,000 sq. ft. Am I missing something?
