Columbia Carolina operates under Certificate of Coverage Number NCG210136. Outfall 45 remains in Tier Two and will continue to be sampled monthly until three consecutive lab results below benchmark. Outfall #5 has two consecutive results below benchmark and requires one more consecutive sample below benchmarks once enough rainfall is observed and collected. Due to a miscommunication with the lab and labels, Outfall 48 was not sampled during the first semiannual sampling event in 2021. Outfall 48 was sampled in the month of August and is now in Tier I1 and will continue to be sampled monthly until three consecutive lab results below benchmark. A Stormwater Inspection was completed in response to this exceedance and a Tier Form will be filled out with the corrective actions. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at (828) 460-8556.
