Dear Mr. Edwards:
On September 21, 2021, a site inspection was conducted for the Anson County Airportfacility located at 2980 Airport Road,
Wadesboro, in Anson County, North Carolina. A copy of the Compliance Inspection Report is enclosed for your review. The
site visit and file review revealed that the subject facility is covered by NPDES Stormwater General Permit NCG150000
under Certificate of Coverage NCG150012. Permit coverage authorizes the discharge of stormwater from the facility to
receiving waters designated as Hurricane Creek, class C waters in the Yadkin -Pee Dee River Basin.
As a result of the inspection, the facility was found to be compliant with the conditions of the NCG150000 permit. Please
refer to the enclosed Compliance Inspection Report for additional comments and observations made during the inspection.
Please be advised that violations of the NPDES Stormwater General Permit are subject to a civil penalty
assessment of up to $26,000 per day for each violation. If you or your staff have any questions, comments, or heeds

Inspection Summary:
Melissa Joyner met with Mr. Rex Edwards, Airport Manager, and reviewed the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
(SPPP). An Owner Designation/Affiliation form will need to be completed to update the facility information about the legally
responsible person for the permit, NCG150012. The site map should be updated to show the percentage of each drainage
area which is impervious. The SPPP included the required documentation and was being actively maintained per General
Permit NCG150000. The facility grounds including the 10 outfalls and the best management practices being utilized were
inspected and appeared to be in good condition with no issues noted.
