Hi Caitlin,
I have attached a survey report showing elevations, the original engineering document from when the pond
was installed and a picture of the gauge in the pond. The measurements look to be consistent. Is this
everything you need or do you need something from the engineer specific to the gauge?

I certify that on September 15th, 2021, a survey was performed under my responsible charge
in compliance with the Standards of Practice for Land Surveying (21-56.1600) for YMCA of
Greensboro, Inc. for the purpose of establishing benchmarks and elevations for a 75' by 150' +/-
retention pond located upon the property of YMCA of Greensboro, Inc (Guilford County Tax
Parcel 111 16415; Deed Book Reference: Deed Book 1595, Page 591; Plat Reference: Plat Book
146, Page 16). A boundary survey was not performed in conjunction with this elevation survey,
and no effort was made to locate property lines, easements, or other boundary matters.
Elevations were established at this site from GPS control points previously surveyed by Sacks
Surveying & Mapping using rapid static GPS (VRS) methods with Spectra Precision SP-80 GPS
equipment, holding local CORS Stations as a fixed horizontal and vertical reference. See
Attachement A (page 2) to this report for GPS meta -data. Differential leveling using a Carl
Zeiss auto -level was then used to measure elevations at the following locations:
Pond benchmark: southwest corner of a metal access hatch on top of a
concrete wet -well vault = 680.72'
Invert elevation of said concrete wet -well vault = 669.57'
Metal rebar set at the low point of the pond dam = 679.99'
Bottom of a staff gauge in the center of the pond = 669.48'
From these elevations, the following readings on the staff gauge can be determined:
Bottom of pond = 0.00'
2 feet below the low point on the dam = + 8.51'
At the low point on the dam = + 10.51'
