Bone Through: James W. Meyer :,object: Audit Findings at Leith Creek It came to our attention during the audit of the Leith Creek wastewater plant laboratory, that data was being analyzed and reported for Leith Creek drinking water discharge permit No. NC0036773 without proper certification for all of the parameters. Data is reported for this particular permit for the parameters of Settleable Solids, Iron, and Turbidity by the drinking water lab which is not certified with this program. Mr.. Robert Ellis oversees both facilities and is listed on our documentation as the laboratory supervisor. According to NCAC 2H 0.800 all data that is reported on the discharge monitoring report must be performed by a certified laboratory. It was recommended that the wastewater laboratory obtain certification for Settleable Solids and Iron, and that Mr. Ellis have oversight of all these parameters at both facilities.
