Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this application:* The existing site has been used as a commercial site for many years. It presently has one structure which will be preserved. In recent months three other prior buildings have been removed.The site has been used for commercial retail. Surrounding properites include a public park and other commercial reatil businesses. 4b. Explain the purpose of the proposed project:* The purpose of this project is to renovate the existing building, rebuild the three buildings which were removed and to add three new buildings. The use of the buildings will be for commercial retail. Parking, landscaping and stormwater facilities will also be included in the project. 4i. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used:* The overall project will include eight small retail buildings of about1,500 sf each. Asphalt parking will be provided. Sidewalk and covered walkways Will be provided for pedestrian access.Stormwater BMP's Will be utilized during construction to prevent any offsite transportation of sediments. The site will be constructed using typical site grading equipment. With the provision of stormwater management during construciton and the utilization of a permanent on -site retention basin, indirect impacts to unaffected areas should be negligible. 5.
