The problem to this point has been excessive water use, stemming from lavatories and/or toilets left running, resulting in thousands of gallons of water being introduced into the on -site waste water system. In response, Trinity American Corporation WWTF has purchased two YdroStop Automatic Water Shut -Off Valves. These valves utilize both differential pressure sensing and timer operation to detect continued water flow. In the event of a large leak, the water supply will be shut-off the instantly. If a small leak is detected, like a toilet left running, the unit will shut-off the water supply in 15 minutes, limiting the leak to tens of gallons, instead of thousands. These units are scheduled for installation as soon as possible. We believe this will eliminate excess water from the system, and keep the daily average flow within permit specifications.
