Per AQWA staff and their inspection in March, the tank was 0 inches of sludge and 12 inches of bottom residuals. # Does the septic tank have an EFFLUENT FILTER or SANITARY T? Sand Filter/Treatment Pods *** Accessible sand filter surfaces shall be raked/leveled every 6 months and vegetative growth shall be removed manually. *** # Is system something other than a sand filter? # If YES, what kind? If maintenace is required, explain: Textile currents appear in good condition. Comment: Some caps were not distributing the spray in a uniform pattern. AQWA staff removed cap and cleaned debris from outlet at that location in the distribution pipe, which corrected the problem at that location. I suggested the lines may need to be cleaned the next time AQWA services the system.
