Hi Isaiah,
We are supporting UPS on stormwater analytical monitoring at the UPS customer center in Asheville, NC (Permit
Number NCG080177). During the past two analytical sampling events (04/24/2021 for H1 2021 and 08/03/2021 for Q3
2021), benchmark value for TSS was exceeded at outfall 002.
Per the new General Permit Requirement for Tier II Status, we need to notify NCDEQ Regional office in writing of the
exceedance. We are working with our client to schedule for a management inspection to identify potential sources and
feasible corrective actions to resolve the issue.
Can you please let us know if any other steps we need to take? Or if you need any additional information?
