The MRO would like to thank Mr. Joseph Roy for his time during the inspection. The residuals storage appeared well maintained at the time of inspection. The following items are noted for informational purposes: * The last land application of residuals was in 2016. In August 2020, residuals were dewatered and hauled for proper disposal by Eagle Dynamic Solutions, a contract company out of Georgia. * TCLP, Corrosivity, Ignitability and Reactivity analyses are required within the current permit cycle (by 2025). Total residuals analyses are required annually when distribution or land application is conducted. Mr. Roy stated that Eagle Dynamic Solutions conducted some analyses for their hauling/disposal purposes, but the analytical data was not part of their service agreement. It is recommended all required analyses be conducted prior to the next distribution event, since the last residuals data the MRO has on record is from 2016. * This permit is currently in the renewal process with our Non -Discharge Permitting Staff at our Central Office in Raleigh. Questions specific to the permit renewal may be addressed to Vivien.Zhong@ncdenr.gov, the permit writer assigned to this project. Please contact Maria Schutte by phone (704-235-2184) or email Maria.Schutte@ncdenr.gov, should you have questions related to the inspection report.
