The existing bridge consists of a mutlispan arrangement of 1 @ 18' - 6", 1 @ 18' - 2", 1 @ 18' - 3", 1 @ 18' -1", 2 @ 18' -2", 1 @ 18' -4". 2 @18'3", 1 @18'6" with a reinforced concrete deck on timber piles with steel and timber crutch bents. The existing bridge is to be replaced with a four span 24" cored slab with 1 @ 50' - 0", 1 @ 60'-0", 2 @55'-0" span arrangement at the same location. The proposed bridge does not contain deck drains, all storm water from the bridge and approaches will be collected by a storm drainage systems and discharged into a Class "B" rip-rap pad at outlets in each of the four quadrants. There are no proposed ditches on this project. Furthermore, fill slopes have been minimized with rock plating to the east of the structure to avoid fill in the wetlands to the maximum extent practical.
