The Town of Weldon emailed Mr. Cheng Zhang with the Raleigh Regional Office on March 2, 2021 to
notify the Division of Water Resources that the Town had exceeded our permitted Average Monthly
flow of 1.2 MGD. I however failed to verbally notify Mr. Zhang of this violation. In the event of future
violations, the town will verbally notify DEQ. The town experienced 6.6" of rain for the month causing
our monthly effluent flow to average 1.375 mgd. The town has and will continue to investigate points of
inflow and infiltration and repair when found.
