College Street, STE 2800 Charlotte, NC 28202 Subject: Hold — Trojan Drive Extension DWQ #13 -0645 Mecklenburg County, NC Dear Mr. Thomas: John E. Skvada, III Secretary On June 25, 2013, the Division of Water Quality (the Division) received you application dated June 20, 2013 for the subject project. Staff has reviewed the application. Please note the following comments and clarifications needed to process the application: 1) Please provide clarification on the project reqarding post construction stormwater. The storm water BMP is shown on the plan but it doesn't indicate the areas that it is treating. Does the treatment area include the future out parcels and Trojan Drive Extension. Are all outfalls discharging to the BMP? A basic conceptual layout of the storm water conveyance system is requested. 2) The information regarding the culvert design is difficult to read. The type is too small. Is rip rap propose along with the culvert. If so what is the impact associated with riprap. It appears a single culvert is proposed? As soon as this information is provided we should be able to issue the approval. Until then, please be advised that this project will be placed on hold pursuant to 15A NCAC 2H .0507(h). If you have any questions, please contact me at (704) 663 -1699. Sincerely, env.
