ASHLEY and husband, BURNICE ASHLEYi CHESTER H. BRANTLEY and wife, ELIZA ANN S. BRANTLEY; GAIL S. BRANTLEY, UNMARRIED; LEONARD M. BRANTLEY and wife, NELLIE D. BRANTLEY; and BRIAN H. BRANTLEY, UNMARRIED, parties of the first part; to ELIZABETH S. BRANTLEY, P.O. Box 276, Spring Hope, NC 27882, party of the second part; WITNESSETH: THAT WHEREAS, Hobart Brantley died intestate on the 24th day of March, 1983, and part of the assets of his Estate consist of the hereinafter described real estate; and whereas, all of the heirs at law of Hobart Brantley have agreed on a distribution of the Estate; and whereas, in the division of the Estate certain heirs have elected to receive more personalty as part of their share and others have elected to receive more realty as part of their share; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of.the mutual exchange of division deeds, and in the settlement of the Estate, the parties of the first part have bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the second part, for and during the life of said party of the second part, a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Mannings Township, Nash County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron stake in the center of SR 1145, said beginning point being located 1,100 feet Westerly of the center of the intersection of SR 1145 and SR 1916; thence from said beginning point in a Northerly direction 1,010 feet to an iron stake on the Southern right of way of US Highway 64 By -Pass; thence along the Southern right of way of US Highway 64 By -Pass in a Westerly direction 200 feet to a point on the Southern right of way of US Highway 64 By -Pass; thence in a Southerly direction 1,010 feet to a point in the center of SR 1145; thence along the center of SR 1145 in an Easterly direction 200 feet to an iron stake in the center of SR 1145, the point of BEGINNING 1 _ ,4151 Rc 429 Book 1151 Page 429 5eq and being a part of the property allotted to Hobart Brantley by Report of Commissioners, said Report being recorded in Book 307, Page 97, Nash County Registry. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said lands and premises, together with all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, to her the said party of the second part, for and during the natural life of said party of the second part, but no longer.
