H. Weatherspoon Plant 491 Power Plant Rd Lumberton, NC 28358 Mailing Address. Kent Tyndall L. V. Sutton Energy Complex 801 Sutton Steam Plant Rd Wilmington, NC 28401 910.341.4775 Duke Energy Progress, LLC submits the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report for W. H. Weatherspoon. This submission is made in accordance with Part III, Section E of our NPDES Stormwater Permit No. NCS000589, and updated guidance received from the section titled `How to Submit Paper DMRs Before eDMR is Implemented' via web link https://deg.nc.gov/deg.nc.gov/sw-edmr. Stormwater Discharge Outfall SW-1 has 'sheet flow' only. Stormwater Discharge Outfall SW-2 is in Tier I status due to 9/13/2020 Copper sampling result being above the benchmark value. Therefore, we are required to conduct monthly monitoring at this outfall until three consecutive sample results are below the benchmark values or within benchmark range. Stormwater Discharge Outfall SW-2 is also in Tier I status due to 9/13/2020 TSS sampling result being above the benchmark value. Therefore, we are required to conduct monthly monitoring at this outfall until three consecutive sample results are below the benchmark values or within benchmark range. Stormwater Discharge Outfall SW-3 cannot discharge due to metal plates on the inlets. Section B of the permit identify six Analytical Monitoring Requirements for sampling. There was not a rain event this month compliant with these six Requirements. Therefore, no samples were collected from Stormwater Discharge Outfalls SW-1, SW-2, or SW-3. The attached table identify which Requirement(s) prevented sampling at Stormwater Discharge Outfall SW-2. The monitoring report indicate "No Flow".
