The final plans and specifications for the subject project have been reviewed
and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted for the construction
of wastewater treatment plant modifications to include revisions to the chlorine con-
tact basin, addition of a dual chlorine feed system, installation of a 180 GPM recir-
culation pump station from the chlorine contact basin, construction of approximately
125 lineal feet of 30-inch and 10,545 lineal feet of 36-inch gravity outfall line,
a 4,500 GPM effluent pump station with 9,980 lineal feet of 20-inch force main, a
ca_:cade aeration system, and standby power.
This Authorization to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless the
wt::.tewater tre,-tment facilities are constructed in accordance with the conditions
and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0020656.
Ihis-is a Class III Wastewater Treatment Plant which requires the operator
in responsible charge to hold a valid Grade HI Certificate.
0ne (1) set of approved plans and specifications is being forwarded to you
and one (1) set to the Environmental Protection Agency.
