We are scheduled to begin the bridge replacement on NC 704 over the Dan in Stokes County. The date of the

availability for the contractor (Smith Rowe) is July 25, meaning this is the date they can mobilize and start on the
th
project. They are currently scheduled to start in water work on August 9.

The Biological Assessment committed to inviting the agencies on the email to an environmental preconstruction
th
meeting. We would like to get it scheduled prior to initiation of in water work on August 9. I’ve created a Doodle poll

The BA also committed to notifying you of start of work. Please accept this email as the notification. It also committed
to relocating any James Spiny mussels which is in place today. USFWS and WRC was notified of the relocation by our
consultant, Tom Dickinson with Three Oaks Engineering.
