This facility was originally permitted as a 3 bedroom by Wake County. The approved Residential Flow Reduction is
based on a 3 bedroom flow but is claiming an existing 4 bedroom unit. The reduction was issued for a non-
dicharge facility. The RRO has concerns regarding a flow reduction for a NPDES Permit. Facility should remain 3
RO Recommendation:
Supervisor approval:
This is a pre-existing, 3 bedroom, county septic system that is failing. The RRO does
not object to upgrading the wastewater facility and the issuance of this permit in
accordance with the current policy of Single Family NPDES Discharge.

Dear Mr. and Ms. Ball:
Per the proposed water use data based on the usage of low -flow fixtures and appliances as well as historical
water usage data provided by Agri -Waste Technology, Inc., the Division of Water Resources hereby approves
the use of a 360 GPD design flow for the existing 4 bedroom home located at 3213 Colby Chase Drive in
Wake County. Please note that approval of this flow reduction does not constitute a modification to any
previously issued permits nor issuance of a new permit.
Regardless of the adjusted design daily wastewater flow rate, at no time shall the wastewater flows exceed
the effluent limits defined in thdtrisn-dischargepermif forte treatment facility or exceed the capacity of the
sewers downstream of any new sewer extensions or service connection(s).
The granting of this flow reduction does not prohibit the Division from reopening, revoking, reissuing and /or
modifying the flow reduction as allowed by the laws, rules, and regulation contained in 15A NCAC 02T, NCGS
143-215.1, or as needed to address changed in State and/or Federal regulations with respect to wastewater
collection systems, protection of surface waters and/or wastewater treatment.

as shown on the maps recorded at book of maps 2001, page 1225 of the Wake County Registry on 3
March 2015 by that Deed recorded at hook 15936, page 782 of the Wake Count} Registry (''the Opcn
Space"). The Declaration and N-('.G.:S- §47F-3-I07 requires Merion to maintain said Open Space:
