Subject: UIC permit WI0600064 Former Greif facility, Bladenboro
Greetings Thomas —
We have our RAP approved for this site and are preparing for injection and monitor well installation in early May. In our
permit application, we had specified 1.5 inch diameter PVC injection wells; for reasons of cost and capacity, we are
considering installing 2-inch diameter wells. How should we document this change?
Your guidance is appreciated.

Thomas -
I believe the information below will answer.your question.
In item IV(B)3 of the application form, the injection volume range stated (550-650 gallons) is only for the ABC substrate;
in hindsight I see that the total volume of fluid should have been entered. In Attachment D, we describe our proposed
total injection volume of 570 gallons of ABC (within the range identified above) mixed with 2,130 gallons of potable
water, for a total volume of 2,700 gallons. Therefore, the correctentry for item IV(B)3 should be a volume range of 2600
to 3100 gallons total fluid (ABC and water) injected per event.
I am pleased to learn that our application is nearly through the review procedure, and we are eager to move forward
with groundwater remediation at this site. I am out of the office today, but checking e-mail, so if you have any further
questions please reply to this message. Thank you, and enjoy your holidays.
