Re: Shoe Enterprises, Inc., Mooresville, N.C. - Variance Request
Dear Mr. McDonald:
On behalf of Shoe Enterprises, I am sending you additional information to support the
major variance request for the N.C. 150 tract in Mooresville. We believe the information
addresses the concerns expressed by the EMC's Water Quality Committee. We also believe it
clearly supports the Town of Mooresville's conclusion that, due to unique aspects of the subject
tract, Shoe Enterprises' proposed runoff collection and management system will more than
mitigate any efforts of reducing the buffer from 100' to 50'. Please note that we have obtained
a letter from Ford Motor Company confirming the need for at least 5 1/2 acres.

me to discuss this information or any other aspect of the variance.
We also are sending this information to the Town of Mooresville's Planning Office.
Since no changes are proposed, we do not believe the Mooresville Board of Commissioners is
required to reapprove the proposal. However, we are keeping them informed.

do to be placed on the agenda for the Water Quality Committee's October meeting.
