The proposed Whitfield Life Center project is located on N. West Street (NC-82) across from the existing Falcon Children's Home approximately 1.0 miles from the intersection of NC-82 and I-95. The Whitfield Life Center project will include a connection to an existing gravity sewer manhole at the end of the NORCRESS system (Permit No. WQCS00353) on the south side of NC-82. The project will extend an 8-inch gravity sewer main across NC-82 and west along NC-82, to serve the proposed Whitfield Life Center project site. Proposed improvements consist of the installation of approximately 1,022 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer along with manholes, services, and other appurtenances to serve three proposed buildings as part of the Whitfield Life Center Project. The proposed project is expected to generate approximately 3,640 gpd of wastewater flows. All wastewater flows will be ultimately conveyed to the Cross Creek Water Reclamation Facility (Permit No. NC0023957). I trust that this information is sufficient for your approval of the requested permit. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact me directly.
