The project engineer was able to modify the outfall design to flatten out the slope. The attached "Sheet 8 of 17_Revised
2021-06-11" has the revised profile detail that reflects the change in design.

Thanks Troy. Quick follow-up question: is it practicable for the outlet section of pipe (from the drop/manhole to the pipe
outlet) to be placed essentially flat (rather than 9+% slope) to reduce velocity at the outlet and limit the likelihood of
scour in the streambed?
