Case Farms Processing Inc- Case Farms Morganton Division
Electronic Reporting Requirements and Permit Renewal
Certificate of Coverage: NCG060392
Burke County
This memo is to inform you of four important pieces of information:
1. The DEMLR Stormwater Program is in the process of renewing the NPDES General Permit
under which your facility is permitted. The draft renewal permit is currently on public
notice. You may view the draft permit by entering "decl.nc.gov/SW" into your browser and
selecting "Stormwater Public Notices" on the lower right side of the screen. The renewed
General Permit is expected to go into effect on July 1, 2021. Note that the current General
Permit will be administratively continued from June 1, 2021 (NCG02) and July 1, 2021.
2. Soon your facility will be entering into the electronic Data Monitoring Report (eDMR)
system. You can read about the process and find the instructions you need by entering
"deg.nc.Rov/SW-eDMR" into your browser. The table below displays the deadlines for
the industrial facilities that are receiving this letter. If your permit does not require
analytical monitoring, then you only need to complete Step 1; Steps 2-6 are not
required for you.

3. If you owe one or more stormwater permit fees, there is a pink slip of paper enclosed in
this envelope. It is crucial that you visit the Stormwater ePayment web site
(deg.nc.gov/SW-ePayments) and pay your permit fee(s) as soon as possible so that the
Stormwater Program can renew your Certificate of Coverage and you can avoid
enforcement actions.
4. If you are current on your annual stormwater permit fees on June 30, 2021, then you
will be able to print an updated Certificate of Coverage from the NPDES Industrial
Stormwater web site (deg.nc.gov/SW-industrial) on or after August 1, 2021.
If you have questions, please contact Annette Lucas, Stormwater Program Supervisor at
annette.lucas@ncdenr.gov or Suzanne McCoy, Administrative Expert at
suzanne.mccov@ncdenr.gov.

for Brian Wrenn
