Comments on Corolla Light #1 WWTP permit (WQ0006254) rescission request:
On 10/29/20 WaRO received documentation from Carolina Water Service that the WWTP had
been put out of operation and the solids had been removed.
On 5/18/21 WaRO received well abandonment records for wells MW1, MW2, MW 3, and MW7
from Carolina Water Service, as requested.
On 5/27/21 the site was visited to confirm the information that had been received. It was
observed that the WWTP had been decommissioned, demolished, and removed. Also, the wells
had been abandoned.
WaRO has no issues with rescission of Permit # WQ0006254.
