D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
1 a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project.
The project has been designed to minimize permanent wetland impacts to 0.011 acre The greenway will span all streams with prefab bridges
avoiding any permanent impacts to streams. The project alignment has been designed to minimize impacts to riparian buffers to the extent feasible
while working within the existing Town of Holy Springs owned 30 -foot sanitary sewer and greenway easement In areas where new easements were
acquired, the alignment was selected to avoided all wetland impact areas.
lb Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
Construction access will be limited to the proposed trail disturbance area. Special stilling basins will be utilized in conjunction with the dewatenng at
proposed bridge locations This special basins will minimize the disturbance footprint to stay within the trail disturbance areas
2. Compensatory Mitigation for Impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the State
