Subject: RE: SW3201202 - Yadkin Regional Water Supply Project - Treatment Plant
Good Afternoon,
The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a complete Stormwater Management Permit
Application for the subject project on April 5, 2021. Staff review of the plans and specifications has determined that the
project, as proposed, will comply with the Stormwater Regulations set forth in Title 15A NCAC 21-1.1000 - 1062 rules. We
are forwarding Permit No. SW3201202, dated April 12, 2021, for the construction, operation and maintenance of the
subject project and the stormwater system. This permit shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be subject
to the conditions and limitations as specified therein, and does not supersede any other agency permit that may be
required.
The original signed permit package and approved plans are being mailed to the permittee, William M. Watson, at the
following address (NOTE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the mailing of the hard copy of the permit will be delayed
slightly. It should be mailed out in a couple of weeks):
Union County
500 North Main Street
Monroe, NC 28112
This project will be kept on file after 30 days at the Mooresville Regional Office. If you have any questions, or need
additional information concerning this matter, please contact me at iim.farkas@ncdenr.gov.
