Effluent Limits & Instream Monitoring Requirements
On June 6, 1988, Technical Support received a WLA request for
renewal of Tabernacle Elementary School's NPDES permit. As part
of an evaluation for the wasteload allocation, I reviewed the
effluent monitoring data. The effluent data show periodic viola-
tions of the BOD5 limit and continuous violations of the NH3N
limit.
In addition, the permit requirements for this facility
include instream monitoring for DO, temperature, and fecal coli-
form, Central Files has not received any instream self monitoring
data. We are adding this requirement in the renewed permit in
order to evaluate the existing limits as they affect the water
quality of the receiving stream.
