Wastewater Treatment Facilities

The plan documents for the subject project have been reviewed and found to be
satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted for the construction of 2.6 MGD
industrial wastewater treatment facilities conaisting of aa influent lift station,
bar screens, grit removal, influent sampling, chemical addition, aeration basins,
secondary clarifiers, waste sludge treatment facilities, in -plant and effluent
lift stations, effluent monitoring and flow measuring, subject to the following
conditions: --
1. No connection shall be made between the two emergency lagoons
such that either or both lagoons can be used interchangeably
for emergency wastewater bolding or effluent polishing.
2. At such time as standby power is provided for brewery process,
standby power shall be provided for biological process of the
wastewater treatment facilities.
This is a Class ;V Wastewater Treatment Plant which requires the person in
responsible charge to hold a valid Grade Iv Certificate.
This Authorization to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless the
wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in accordance with the conditions
and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0029980.
Also, enclosed is a copy of WPC Form #50 "Cost of Wastewater Treatment Works."
This form is to be completed and returned to this office within thirty (30) days
after the project is completed.
