Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam. Good morning, Jeanette: I hope that you are doing well and having a great week! The Public Works Director, Jason Green, informed me that you guys still needed our self-audit and Stormwater Management Plan. Our self audits were conducted last fall in coordination with Gaston County in regards to post-construction and TMDLs. The Town contracts with Gaston County via an interlocal agreement for the implementation of these services It was my understanding at the time that the self-audits could reflect the incorporation of Gaston County’s Stormwater Ordinances in order to show our current state of the post-construction measure. Our Stormwater Management Plan details in great length how we intend to be more proactive and compliant in the future. The incorporated ordinance and self audits for these two measures are attached. Also, in regards to TMDLs, we recognize that Lake Wylie TMDL 1995 Catawba River Basin Wide Water Quality Management Plan points to a collaborative effort to deal with non-point sources of pollution in to the South Fork River. Ranlo has targeted certain industries and users with public education and involvement BMPs to bring awareness and reform to improper practices such as the overuse of fertilizers and herbicides, improper waste disposal at automobile repair shops, and other household contributors such as home maintenance. This is also reflected in our updated Stormwater Management Plan. I want to ensure that we are compliant with what we need to submit, so please let me know what further information your agency needs from us. I apologize if there was a delay, as I was under the impression that everything was summitted in January with our Stormwater Management Draft Plan. As always, I appreciate your help and assistance with this matter. Jonathan D. Blanton Ranlo Town Manager 1624 Spencer Mountain Road Gastonia, North Carolina 28054 704-824-3461
