The Town of Ranlo therefore has targeted certain industries and users with public education and involvement BMPs to bring awareness and reform to improper practices such as the overuse of fertilizers and herbicides, improper waste disposal at automobile repair shops, and other household contributors such as home maintenance. As noted, all BMPs are related ot the reduction of pollution and enhancement of water quality recovery.
