On September 19, 2013, the Wilmington Regional Office received a plan revision for
Stormwater Management Permit Number SW8 080313. The revisions include shifting
and modifying infiltration basin BMP-1. Care was taken to ensure that the infiltration
basin while modifying its shape does maintain the same surface areas and volumes as
the original design. It has been determined that a formal permit modification is not
required for the proposed changes. We are forwarding you an approved copy of the
revised plans for your files. Please replace the old approved plan sheets with the new
ones.
Please be aware that all terms and conditions of the permit issued on July 13, 2012,
remain in full force and effect. Please also understand that the approval of this
revision to the approved plans for the subject State Stormwater Permit is done on a
case -by -case basis. Any other changes to this project must be submitted to and
approved through the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources prior to
construction. The issuance of this plan revision does not preclude the permittee from
complying with all other applicable statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which
may have jurisdiction over the proposed activity, and obtaining a permit or approval.

Plan Revision Narrative
This is a plan revision to 5tormwater Management Permit Number SW8 080313 P-1286 Bachelor's
Enlisted Quarters Rifle Range. The purpose of this plan revision is to address a potential cover problem
with an existing water line running east -west through the permitted infiltration basin BMP-1. In order to
maintain adequate cover for the existing water line, we have expanded the area of BMP-1 to the north
and west and moved the footprint away from the waterline. This plan revision has been accomplished
while maintaining all of the pertinent characteristics of the permitted BMP-1. The volumes and areas of
the BMP at each water surface elevation are identical to the respective volumes and areas of the
permitted BMP as outlined in the table below. The drainage area serving BMP-1 will also remain the
same at 3.44 acres. No modifications to the permitted limits of construction are being made with this
plan revision.
