Dear Ms. Kraft:
The Mooresville Regional Office (MRO) has received and reviewed the 2020 Annual Report
(AR) for the above permit. The report reflects there was no surface disposal conducted in 2020.
The report also reflects 567.3 tons of material has been removed from the monofill in 2020.
Due to continued elevated nitrates being reported in well MW-7, the MRO is requesting
that additional assessment be performed to determine the source and/or extent of this
problem and to conduct an evaluation of the construction of the monitoring well.
