Review of DMR's revealed no permit violations. A review of laboratory data for the same months showed all
data to be consistent with what was reported on DMR's. Records were neatly and accurately maintained.
Wastewater at this facility is a combination of solids from the sedimentation basins and filter backwash
water. The Glenville WTP also discharges all of its wastewater into the Hoffer WTP. The wastewater from
both of these facilities is pumped into an equalization basin. A polymer is added to aid in settling.
Wastewater is then pumped into two clarifiers. Supernatant water then goes to a 10'acre lagoon for further •
settling to occur. The supernatant from this lagoon is then discharged to the Cape Fear River. The outfall
was easily accessible and the effluent was clear.
