Subject: Additional Flow Allocation for the Fayetteville Public Works Commission's
Cross Creek Water Reclamation Facility
Dear Mr. Allen:
In December 2018, as part of its Delegated Permitting Authority,. the Fayetteville Public Works
Commission (PWC) requested that the Cross Creek Water. Reclamation Facility (WRF) be
allocated a flow of 100,000 gallons for calendar year 2019. To date, approximately 70,000
gallons have been allocated through. our Delegated Permitting Authority. We anticipate that any
additional permits issued during the remainder of 2019 will exceed the requested allocation of
100,000 gallons. Therefore, we are requesting an additional allocation of 100,000 gallons for the
remainder of 2019. This will bring PWC's total allocation for 2019 to 200;000 gallons for the
Cross Creek WRF.
Currently, the Cross Creek WRF receives an average flow of 12.2 million gallons per day
(MGD), with a permitted capacity of 25 MGD.
Please contact Mr. John Allen, Senior Engineer, at (910) 223-4734.if you have any questions or
require additional information.
Sincerely,
PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION
